By using Lantis, you accept these terms. Please read them carefully—we try to be clear and direct, with no fine print.

1. Service Owner

2. Description of service

Lantis is an automatic web translation platform that allows website owners to add multilingual versions of their content using a one-line script. The service includes AI translation (Claude, DeepL, Gemini), hreflang management, multilingual sitemaps, caching, and an administration dashboard.

3. Account and access

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • All activities carried out under your account.
  • Notifying us immediately in the event of any unauthorized use.

4. Plans and payments

Lantis offers monthly and annual subscription plans. Prices are shown in US dollars (USD) excluding taxes; Paddle adds VAT or other applicable taxes according to your country. Subscriptions contracted before the shift to dollars (October 2026) continue to be billed in euros (€) at their original rate. Orders are processed by our online reseller Paddle.com, which is the Merchant of Record for all orders: it handles payment, taxes, and invoicing. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them. You can cancel at any time from the dashboard; access is maintained until the end of the billed period.

You have 14 days from each payment to cancel and request a full refund without providing any reason. After that period, we do not issue refunds for periods already billed, except for the cases covered in our refund policy.

5. Acceptable use

It is prohibited to use Lantis to:

  • Distribute illegal or fraudulent content, or content that infringes on third-party rights.
  • Reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute the software or infrastructure.
  • Overload or attack our systems (massive scraping, DDoS, etc.).
  • Use the service to translate spam or deceptive content.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, without prior notice in serious cases.

6. Intellectual property

Lantis grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service according to these terms. The software, design, brand, and all infrastructure are the property of Lantis or its licensors. Your content (original texts) remains yours; you grant us a license to process it for the sole purpose of providing the service.

7. Availability and SLA

We strive to maintain 99.5% monthly uptime. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned outages will be communicated in advance. We are not liable for damages resulting from occasional downtime.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lantis will not be liable for indirect damages, loss of profits, loss of data, or damages resulting from the use or inability to use the service. Our total liability will not exceed the amount paid by the user in the 3 months prior to the event that gave rise to the claim.

9. Modifications

We may update these terms. We will notify you via email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after that date implies acceptance of the new terms.

10. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute will be submitted to the courts of Barcelona (Spain), unless applicable consumer regulations state otherwise.
